Rosnefteflot confirms the compliance of the Safety Management System with the requirements of the International Code

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping conducted a renewal certification of the Safety Management System (SMS) of Rosnefteflot JSC. The representative of the classification society noted the high level of safety management and confirmed the compliance of the system with the requirements of the “International Code for the Management of Safe Operation of Ships and Pollution Prevention” (ISM Code).

According to the results of the audit, Rosnefteflot JSC issued a Document of Compliance for management of oil tankers, cargo and high-speed passenger ships for a period up to 2024.

The SMS was developed and implemented at Rosnefteflot JSC in 1999, certified by authorized classification societies, the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and the Russian River Register, maintained and constantly improved in accordance with the requirements of the ISM Code.
